Leicester City opened their UEFA Champions League account with a spectacular 0-3 victory in Belgium and sit at the top of group G after round one.

In their inaugural Champions League appearance, Leicester played their best game of the current campaign as a fifth minute goal from Marc Albrighton was then added two by an impressive brace from Riyad Mahrez.

The Algerian has taken a lot of stick so far this season after several performances that had not lived up to his shining star of last season.

However, this looked like the Mahrez of old and the Foxes made a massive statement to bounce back with a European away victory in midweek after taking a 4-1 shellacking at the hands of Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Following their group topping performance here are the Leicester player ratings.
