Leicester City fell to Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League after another dismal performance, which has left them still looking to qualify top of the group.
Leicester City travelled to Ukraine looking to bounce back after no win in three matches, and were given some amazing news and Caglar Soyuncu, Ricardo Pereira and Wilfred Ndidi made their return to the side.
But Soyuncu got injured after 10 minutes, which set the tone for the night really.
A sluggish performance was sealed when Allahyar Sayyadmanesh slotted in with five minutes to go to give the Ukrainian side a famous victory.
So who was awful, and was the brightest spark in the player ratings.
Danny Ward- 6
The number two goalkeeper made a rare appearance and he didn’t look rusty at all. After two fine saves in the first half he didn’t have a lot to do until he picked the ball out of net for the goal. Nice to know there is a suitable number two.
Ricardo Pereira- 5
Isn’t it great to see Ricardo on a football pitch, albeit for a very steady 45 minutes. Understandably the Portuguese international was very tentative in challenges and wasn’t bombing forward due to it being his first game since his ACL injury in March but it was more about fitness than performance tonight.
Wes Morgan- 5
The Leicester legend received another European cap tonight in a standard Wes Morgan performance. Challenges for every ball and last-ditch blocks were all to see tonight, before he made way shortly before the hour. Still an important player this season.
Caglar Soyuncu-5
After two months out with a groin injury, the big Turk made his long-awaited return only for him get injured again with only 10 minutes on the clock. It was a sight that every Leicester fan feared, lets hope it’s not that serious.
James Justin- 6
A decent performance from the full back. He was one of brightest sparks in the first half on the left hand side, and was assured on the right in the second half. He should have scored at the end, but his finishing let him down. The England Under 21 international doesn’t have long to try and establish his place in the side with Ricardo and Castagne coming back from injury. He’ll need more than his ‘OK’ performance today.

Wilfred Ndidi- 6
The Nigerian was another player who made his comeback from injury this evening and it was a typical Ndidi performance. He was energetic throughout his 55 minutes, wasn’t afraid to stick a foot in and he got some important minutes under his belt. One of the Foxes better performers, although that wasn’t hard.
Hamza Choudhury- 5
The academy graduate didn’t really do a lot tonight, and with Ndidi in the side I don’t really get why he was playing when other young players could have made an impact. Hamza isn’t good enough on the ball to playing in a more advanced roll. Running about was about all he could muster.
Dennis Praet-4
It was a nothing performance from the ‘blonde god’. He was played in midfield tonight rather than on the right wing, but he never got involved as the game just seemed to pass him, he was that bad. It was no coincidence that the Foxes looked sharper when he departed for Maddison. He’s definitely dropped off since his good start to the season.
Cengiz Under- 6 MOTM
The Turkish international was easily Leicester’s best player tonight, without doing a lot. A couple of classic long range shots offered a few good saves from their ‘keeper, but his decision making needs A LOT of work. There were too many times where he picked the ball up in the final third and failed to find Iheanacho or he delayed to long and lost the ball. However, without him the match would have been eyeball tearingly painful.
Harvey Barnes- 3
I think Harvey Barnes might be the most frustrating player I have ever seen. He was so non-existent today it hurt. Every time he got the ball -which wasn’t a lot – he either lost it or passed it back. Games like this are games where he should showcase his talent, not give the manager opportunities for him to dropped. Awful
Kelechi Iheanacho- 5
A so-so performance from the Nigerian. His hold up play was bad but then a minute later it was good, it was that kind of day for him and his teammates. He was badly let down by the service.

Leicester City substitutes
Wesley Fofana- 6
Basically played a full match today, and slotted in well, didn’t really have a lot to do.
Luke Thomas- 6
Actually, played quite well after a few ‘iffy’ games recently. The youngster supplied some beautiful crosses with no takers, but he didn’t do a lot in his 45 minutes.
Papy Mendy- 5
Another player who didn’t effect the game. He came on for Ndidi on the hour, but he didn’t have anyone next to him to set the tempo, and Mendy struggled to inject any life into a lifeless game.
Christian Fuchs- 5
The Leicester legend was assured at his new found centre-back position. But with half an hour he couldn’t do a lot, and the goal wasn’t his fault.
James Maddison- 6
Came on for 10 minutes, and probably touched the ball more than anyone. His cuteness and energy was dearly missed throughout the match, and he nearly scored but for a good save.
