Brendan Rodgers might leave Leicester City. It could be due to the recent Manchester United links or simply because he has reached the ceiling with the Foxes. Either way, it is good to be aware of the situation before it catches LCFC off-guard.
Leicester isn’t doing too great in the first quarter of the season. Even by LCFC’s standards, we are way behind. The European campaign’s progression is a huge task and trailing in the 12th place of the Premier League is just painful. At a time like this, Caught Offside’s fresh rumor indicating a verbal agreement between Brendan Rodgers with Manchester United has startled the Foxes’ fanbase.
"“Brendan Rodgers to Manchester United…he’s agreed it, there’s just question marks over when he’ll take over. That could be at the end of the season, which he would prefer, but United are pushing for now.” – Caught Offside claims."

There is no concrete source to check whether the claim is haywire or there is legitimacy to it. But as we all feel deep inside, Rodgers cannot be around for much longer. The team has done well since Rodgers took over. However, that honeymoon period now looks to have reached its saturation point.
The bridge between the Foxes and Rodgers is not strong like before, as the fanbase is diverged and skeptical about whether the boss is capable of taking them forwards. Also, having an offer to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjær would sound tempting anyway. Considering the quality that United has, Rodgers would ponder over the offer on the table.

There is no doubt that Rodgers can do better than the Norwegian has done thus far. We need to be prepared with a backup replacement if the former decides to leave us at the end of this season. There are many fantastic managers available in the free agency. Some are committed to a team but are likely to be moving on from their current projects. Considering our style of counter-attacking plays with players being comfortable with a facilitating wingback system, we have considered three fantastic managers.
3 managers for Leicester City to keep an eye on
Gian Piero Gasperini – The way Gasperini has worked with Atalanta throughout the past few years has been nothing short of exemplary. Dealing with a high-risk hyper-offensive mindset with a possession-based system, the Italian manager demands intense robustness from his team. With a 3-4-3 formation, he relies more on the midfield’s creativity for his front runners. The extra work done by the wingbacks makes Atalanta a credible threat to any opposition. The Italian manages with a style that is similar to Leicester but a lot different in intricate ways.

Rúben Amorim – With a 73.24% win rate, Amorim is highly sought as an upcoming bold manager from the Portuguese top flight. Also, much like Gasperini, Amorim is a fan of the 3-4-3 formation. Considered a mastermind behind Sporting’s recent success, the young manager forces the wingbacks to intermingle with the attackers once on the attack. On defense, three at the back with midfielders rapidly dropping deep clogs up the central pitch and makes it difficult for the opposition to break their layered setup. It is rigid yet fluid. He also gives a lot of young talent precious minutes to develop under him organically.

Lucien Favre – Again another manager who is famous for his attacking mindset. A tactically sound manager whose defense needs a crafty lockpicker to break in. In his dynamic and attacking-minded football, the tempo alternates whenever a change of possession takes place. This attractive style of play has brought results in every club he has managed. Yet, Favre remains out of work following his dismissal as Borussia Dortmund’s manager. The Swiss man has a reputation for predicting well how opposing teams, coaches, or players tend to react in certain situations. To play this style, Favre pays attention to details and techniques, especially one-to-one.
