FoL’s 3 favorite Leicester City players of the King Power era

Andy King – Well, how can you talk about the whole King Power era without mentioning the person who has been through it all? Whether it was in the shallow depths of League One or earning the promotion by winning the SkyBet Championship to winning the Premier League title against the odds of 5000/1.

King has represented the badge in 379 appearances and had scored on 62 occasions. The former Wales international became the first player to win the top three divisions with the same club in the Premier League era.

King was always an instrumental maestro. Operating at the beating heart of Leicester City, his orchestration was a beauty to behold in the midfield. Speaking about his accolades, the original number 10 of the Foxes won Leicester City Young Player of the Year(2008-09), Player’s Player of the Year(2009-10, 2010-11), PFA Team of the Year – 2010-11 Championship.
We love our Kingy even to this day. He has now rejoined forces with Nigel Pearson and Matty James at Bristol City. King was the only player to have the same name on his back and in the front of his shirt since the King Power group took over.
