Leicester City attacker Ayoze Perez has spoken to the club’s official website to explain his feelings about a crucial return to the Foxes team. This comes following many supporters being under the impression, including ourselves, that the Spaniard would be leaving unceremoniously in the summer transfer window.

To be completely honest, Foxes of Leicester collectively thought that Perez was on his way out of the Leicester squad. Not only that, I am personally of the opinion that he was an unwise, possibly overpriced and seemingly unnecessary signing.

While I am still of that view, with all respect to the 28-year-old, I understand his style slightly more these days. He has now proven that his skill set is of match-winning quality – Perez just hasn’t had that immediate influence enough in a blue shirt.

The former Newcastle United man has been on Filbert way for almost three years, and there is still a likelihood that he will depart the team. Meanwhile, he has spoken of the revitalising occasions after impacts versus PSV Eindhoven and his ex-side:

A look ahead to the next Leicester City match

On Wednesday, the East Midlands club travel to Merseyside to face Everton at Goodison Park. Under current boss Frank Lampard, the Toffees’ form and displays have been consistent in their inconsistencies. Relegation is an absolute possibility for Everton, with Watford, Burnley and Norwich City in very similar predicaments. Lampard’s men only managed two victories in their last five outings; the Clarets, Canaries and Hornets have all won one fewer game in that time.

On the School of Science injury table, there are five players at the moment: defenders Nathan Patterson and Yerry Mina; midfielders Donny van de Beek and Tom Davies; as well as winger Andros Townsend. On that subject, this is how FoL feel the Blues will lineup versus the King Power outfit:
