I absolutely loved the way the Blue Army responded to the Southampton fan’s chants of “your wife is a grass” and “(Wayne )Rooney” with chants such as the obligatory “he’s won more than you” and classic Jamie Vardy chant of “Jamie Vardy’s having a party” it certainly raised the atmosphere and somewhat improved it.

The way Vardy ran towards the Southampton fans when he scored, oh it’s just something you absolutely love to see, peak Jamie Vardy giving the opposition fans grief because of what they sang, he just thrives off it. However, he was very clever about it as he didn’t run all the way to the fans, because if he did I bet Jonathan Moss would’ve booked him, but you know damn well if he’d of scored in the first half in front of the family stand there would be no doubt about it that he’d head straight for that corner flag in front of the away end.

Feeling emotional

The final game of the season left me feeling emotional, what am I going to do until August without my weekly fix of football?! I didn’t expect to feel the way I did when we left the King Power Stadium this evening. I will certainly miss the midweek European nights but at least our fixture list will be less congested. Not to mention that LCFC can really focus on the league and who knows where we will finish next season.
