EPL’s seasonal Fantasy Premier League is back for the 2022-23 calendar, and we are excited for the start of the game as Leicester City fans.

The King Power club will not be participating in any of the three European competitions as they were in the recent seasons, so the focus for this year will revolve around the league and the cup competitions.

We know when it comes to the FPL, biasedness towards your favorite players can cost you your rankings. Our advice is don’t think from your heart, but solely from your grey matter.

The FPL prices for the Leicester City players have got revealed recently, and there are some players that we think you should have. With a budget cap of £100.0, it becomes imperative to go for safer bets rather than taking careless risks.

Fitting an active squad of 15 players was never easy. There are sacrifices to be made in order to boost your chances with your weekly starting XI.

You got to have your Mohamed Salah, Son Heung-min, Kevin De Bruyne, and Erling Haaland, but one also needs to manage other recruitments for their exorbitant prices. Judiciously sniffing out the many underrated stars with untapped potential is critical.

One needs to know about the stars of tomorrow who are likely to have their breakout season around the league. So this processed selection not only becomes crucial for a Leicester City fan, but also for the FPL community as a whole.

James Maddison

James Maddison is the top prospect from our outfit that we are confident of thriving in this edition of the FPL.

Unlike last season the 25-year-old doesn’t have to start the season with a recurring ailment. A hip injury severely impacted some performances initially, but the sluggish start coupled with an underwhelming season for the Foxes was not enough to extinguish Maddison’s prowess from achieving his personal best.

With a tally of 181 pts already under his belt, we fully expect the LCFC attacking midfielder to do even better than his last outing. Furthermore, Leicester City’s player of the season was ranked fifth in the FPL’s midfielder category.

Astonishingly, the Leicester No.10’s price has remained the same. A price tag of £8million is a deal worthy of becoming a bang for your buck. The TSB (Teams Selected By) for him is at 6.4%.

Even with his outstanding credentials during the 2021/22 season, he got omitted from Gareth Southgate’s English national team. So expect him to play this season because he has a point to prove.

Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy is always an ideal pick from the East Midlands outfit. The talisman has scored 150+ points in his last six out of seven campaigns, crossing the elusive 200 thresholds twice. There is a minimal chance of anything going wrong with the Fox in the box, even at this age.

Priced at £9.5m, with an overall TSB of 4.1%, Vardy becomes a hidden asset of this calendar. The Leicester City centre-forward has only managed to participate in 25 Premier League matches last season, being sidelined for a good chunk of 108 days.

Still, the veteran has scored 15 goals with two assists in his total playing time of 1805 minutes. A worry that might nag you could be that Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho’s minutes could hamper Vardy’s.

But as we’ve seen, Brendan Rodgers will have to trust Vardy more, compared to the others, as he has proven in the last season that an aged Fox is still a better hunter than the other options.

Our advice to you is to trust Vardy. He will make a significant impact on how his outfit fares this season. Don’t let the tag of being a 35-year-old fool you!

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

As a relatively fresh entrant, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is a budget option that can work wonders regardless of Youri Tielemans’ situation. Valued at only £5.0m, it becomes your assured bet that won’t affect your overall squad building budget. With a TSB of only 1.4%, Dewsbury-Hall is also a player that others will not have on their radar.

The 23-year-old midfielder was a part of participated in 28 Premier League games for his boyhood club in his first breakout season. He scored once and assisted twice, which earned him 70 pts in the FPL standings. If you need a player that can chip in as your primary or secondary substitute, KDH might be a difference-maker.
