Wes Morgan – Panama 2 – 0 Jamaica

Leicester City captain and Jamaican international Wes Morgan looked to get their World Cup qualifying campaign off to a flying start.

More from Foxes of Leicester

Morgan, born less than 30 miles from Leicester in Nottingham, opted to play for his ancestral roots of Jamaica in 2016 and has played 28 games since.

Jamaican National Team coach Winfried Schäfer was expecting a big result on away turf against Panama however they fell short, losing 2 – 0 after only have 2 shots on target.

Jamaica will be very disappointed with their result after coming off of the back of a great Copa America performance in the summer, their next game is at home against Haiti on the 7th of September where they’ll expect a much better performance.
