Defenders

2 Luis Hernandez

3 Ben Chilwell

5 Wes Morgan

6 Robert Huth

17 Danny Simpson

27 Marcin Wasilewski

28 Christian Fuchs

No surprises in the defence department either as Claudio Ranieri selects his best options to hold out the Porto, Copenhagen and Brugge attacks.

A likely backline for the foxes in Europe would be a back 4 consisting of Simpson, Morgan, Huth and Fuchs.

Ben Chilwell however may be given the nod ahead of Fuchs in order to keep the Austrian fresh for the league.

An interesting note to take from this list is the lack of depth in the right-back position, although Daniel Amartey can be deployed at right-back should an injury see Simpson unfit to play.
