Liverpool v Leicester: Preview and projected lineups for massive Anfield clash
Leicester City travel to a renovated Anfield on Saturday evening as they look to get their season back underway following the international break.
Both Liverpool and Leicester have had frustrating starts to their seasons. Each have suffered losses to newly promoted sides and both have managed only four points out of their first nine available.
Liverpool made no more enhancements to their first team prior to the transfer deadline, while Leicester City once again smashed their club transfer record with the signing of Sporting Lisbon’s Islam Slimani.
Riyad Mahrez will likely be excited to see a fellow Algerian international join the ranks and it could quickly prove to be a massive gain for the Foxes as he is expected to make his debut.
Several injuries and extended international layovers will see both sides make some enforced changes and you can read more on that in our injury analysis pre-match piece.
Liverpool and the Kop should be more than up for this one as it is the return to their home pitch for the first time this season and the first time since the new main stand has been raised.
Leicester have all the counter attacking tools to pull off another strong showing at Anfield just like they did last season.

However, I see this one being a potential goal fest as both sides can be brilliant in attack but both have frailty at the back.
