Leicester City travel to Old Trafford this weekend as they face United. Here you’ll find all of the information regarding the fixture you’ll ever need!

Our Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Leicester City

Reasoning: The foxes’ start to the season could be referred to as the polar opposite of Manchester United’s start.

Leicester got off to a rough start as their opening fixture away at Hull City ended in misery as they suffered a 2 – 1 defeat. Things looked on the up as the foxes drew their opening home game against Arsenal before beating Swansea City 2 – 1.

Liverpool however, who are in fantastic form this season, decided to put Leicester City firmly in their place as they walked to a  4 – 1 victory at Anfield. However, ‘Foxes never quit’ isn’t just a motto.

Following their humbling defeat, Leicester won their first ever Champions League fixture in their history in a 3 – 0 win over Belgian champions Club Brugge before beating Burnley 3 – 0 at home.

Their Midweek game on Tuesday ended in a  4 – 2 loss to Chelsea in extra time during the League Cup whilst fielding their B-Team.

Despite this minor set-back, their usual starting 11 are in fantastic form going into tomorrows match and will be looking to continue in this manner, should they do so, United’s shaky defence may be in for a shock.

As mentioned, United’s season got off to a brilliant start as they won their opening 3 games. Since then however things have been anything but stellar.

Jose Mourinho’s side lost their local derby against Pep Guardiola’s  Manchester City 2 – 1 before losing in the Europa league to Feyenoord 1 – 0.

Things went from bad to worse after Watford beat United for the first time in 30 years during their 3 – 1 thrashing of the Devils.

This week in the league cup saw Northampton put up a valiant first half effort after going 1 – 0 up, however the quality of the Manchester United squad saw them win 3 – 1 at the final whistle.

United will be going into tomorrows game with a point to prove. Whether it be Mourinho or the players.

Their shaky defence this season will have Slimani, Vardy, Mahrez and Musa all licking their lips at the thought of a visit to Old Trafford.

The quality of Jose’s side going forward is undeniable, for this reason I think it’s fair to assume Morgan and Huth have a job on their hands. I do believe however that they’ll enjoy the physical battle between themselves and Ibrahimovic.
