Leicester City host Danish champions FC Copenhagen in their third UEFA Champions League match of the Group Stage at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester have already started their UEFA Champions League campaign with two positive results against Club Brugge and FC Porto,

Now they have the opportunity to make amends for their loss to Chelsea over the weekend with a positive result against a visiting side in front of their amazing home support.

If there is one thing that the hosts have going for them it is their form in their home ground and a victory here against Copenhagen would be a massive boost to their Champions League objectives.

More from Foxes of Leicester

Both Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani were rested from the start against Chelsea and are certain to be back in the first team.

Daniel Amartey will be set to feature against his former club while both Nampalys Mendy and Shinji Okazaki are sidelined through injury.

Copenhagen currently have no injury issues and will field their strongest squad from the opening whistle and it is likely to be close to the same side that drew with Porto in round one.

While the Foxes have had a lot of trouble in the Premier League, they are soaring so far in the Champions League.

The visitors have not lost a match in their last 13 and are undefeated in their eight European matches so far since starting their run to Champions League qualification in July.

Claudio Ranieri’s men will have a tough match ahead of them, but should come out on top.
