Leicester City continued their European success in mid-week against FC Copenhagen, but the real work returns as they desperately need a Premier League win this weekend.

Crystal Palace travel to the King Power and face Leicester with both sides on the back of losses last weekend.

Palace had been getting back to their best under Alan Pardew with three straight wins book-ended by draws before the International break, but failed to keep their form with a loss to West Ham.

Leicester themselves have only managed to get on the scoresheet once in their last three, Demarai Gray’s stunner at Old Trafford being the last Premier League goal scored for the Foxes.

A trip to Stamford Bridge to compete against Chelsea yet again ended in disappointment for Claudio Ranieri’s men against the Blues this season and saw the Foxes continue to be mired in the lower mid-table.

More from Foxes of Leicester

In what could be a more open game for the hosts, Ranieri will hope to see his side continue to fight on the counter attack and keep their strong home form.

The Foxes are undefeated at the King Power Stadium this season and have taken eight of a possible 12 points at home. However, Palace have won twice and drawn once in their last three visits to Leicester and will be looking to do their best to scalp the defending Champions.

Injuries to Palace defenders Scott Dann and Pape Souare could see the defense susceptible to Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani’s budding partnership and Vardy’s pace should give the hosts opportunity to cause problems.

A knock for Wes Morgan over midweek against Copenhagen should not keep him out of the first team and there should be minimal changes to the Leicester side that defeated the Danish side at home.
