Leicester City v Crystal Palace: Latest injury updates ahead of King Power showdown
Leicester City host Crystal Palace at the King Power this weekend and several injury issues remain for both sides ahead of the match.
Leicester will likely be making at least one forced change with Andy King picking up a knock during mid-week against FC Copenhagen. Daniel Amartey is expected to replace the long serving Fox as Danny Drinkwater’s midfield partner against the Eagles.
Jamie Vardy picked up a slight groin problem and could be replaced by Shinji Okazaki, but is expected to make a full recovery and be ready to go at the weekend.
Likewise so is We Morgan who took a shot to his hip against Copenhagen but should be back in full swing Saturday.

More long term injuries for the Foxes include Matty James who is not expected to be back until at the earliest next week, and also Nampalys Mendy.
The summer midfield signing has yet to even make more than a few appearances as the anticipation for him being a stop gap in the absence of departed N’Golo Kante continues to prove unanswered.
Palace on the other hand also have a few injuries that are creating long and short term frustrations.
Pape Souare’s broken leg continues to see Joel Ward deputize at right back while Scott Dann is going to be a game time decision as the back.
Loic Remy was thought to be a great addition to support the attack, but his current thigh strain sees him unlikely to make any impact until late in the season.
Meanwhile highly promising Jonathan Benteke also is missing as part of the attacking options.
It will be down to Jason Puncheon and Christian Benteke to create something to get the Eagles into the game and bring the wing play of Andros Townsend and Wilfried Zaha into the game.
It is certain to be a cracking contest at the King Power Saturday and Leicester will be hoping to reverse their recent fortunes against Palace at home and walk away with another positive home stadium result.
