Leicester City secured their first away point of the campaign thanks to the hard work and gutsy play of summer addition Ahmed Musa.

Ahmed Musa has looked an excellent summer signing in his latest two performances as he has scored important goals against both Crystal Palace last weekend and an all important equalizer against Tottenham on Saturday.

However, the Nigerian was forced to leave the pitch Saturday at White Hart Lane and it appears he is suffering from knock that will be assessed by the Leicester medical staff on Sunday.

Musa has looked strong playing in the wide left areas since manager Claudio Ranieri has been testing him out wide and it looks like the gamble is paying off.

The striker converted winger so far looks to be benefiting from essentially being the third striker on the pitch and has looked positive running into the spaces that are opened up by Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki.

It is hoped that the Nigerian will not be forced to miss next weekend’s match against West Bromwich Albion as that is certain to be another fight on their hands.

Since his arrival Musa has found it hard to make his way into the first team and it is potentially very unfortunate if the club is to lose him for an extended period of time just as he is starting to find his feet since his move from Russia.
