Tottenham v Leicester: Players ratings as Musa strikes again
Leicester City traveled to London to face off against Tottenham in hopes of them claiming their first away points of the campaign and they did just that.
While Tottenham came into the match undefeated in the Premier League, Leicester were desperate for their first away points of the season having lost their first four away games of the campaign.
Tottenham drew first blood through a 44th minute penalty strike from Vincent Janssen but Ahmed Musa was able to score his second goal in as many games in the second half.
Victor Wanyama’s poor header was latched onto by Jamie Vardy and the recent Ballon d’Or nominee crossed the ball to the Nigerian summer addition who blasted it home past Hugo Lloris.
It was an end to end match from the opening whistle and the last ten minutes saw both sides have potential chances to take all three points.
In the end a 1-1 draw seemed like a fair result for last seasons’ champions and the runners up.

Wes Morgan – Put in a captains shift and was strong against Janssen on the night, kept his composure to make sure he was not to physical after the Huth penalty. – 7.5

Danny Drinkwater –Quickly becoming the Leicester breakout star of the season as the 26-year-old is bossing the midfield for the Foxes every match, was a true leader in the midfield. – 8.5

Leicester must now turn their focus to their chances of automatic advancement to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League as a victory this mid-week against FC Copenhagen will see them on 12 points and place in the last 16.
Automatic advancement also sees the club able to focus on their Premier League form for the rest of the year.
