Schmeichel has been on fire this season making some magnificent saves. Although there have been some games where his defense has been ripped apart and he has taken the brunt of some of the results, he has truly been excellent.
His efforts against FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League helped his side to another positive result as they are now up to 10 points in their maiden Group Stage.
Leicester are also the first new boys to the tournament to not have conceeded in the opening four matches of their quest for European glory.
Manager Ranieri was keen to praise his man between the sticks with his comments post match on Wednesday night and believes that Schmeichel is truly one of the best in Europe:

I am very calm when Kasper is in goal. He is strong, assured and commands the defensive line. He is a very good goalkeeper.”"
