Leicester City could have guaranteed their place in the last 16 with a victory in Denmark against FC Copenhagen on Wednesday night.

However, that would not be the case as Leicester never really got going and the rotation of players in each bank of players in Claudio Ranieri’s first team saw chemistry once again frustrated.

Ahmed Musa has been sensational on the left wing in his last two appearances, but this run out he was put back upfront with Jamie Vardy and the change did not pay off.

Jeffrey Schlupp was moved into the left flank in place of Musa and preferred ahead of Marc Albrighton which equally seemed a more out of place considering Albrighton’s performances in Europe have been excellent thus far.

Lastly Luis Hernandez returned to the back line, but he does not off the forward attacking support that Danny Simpson does behind Riyad Mahrez.

All the changes seemed to see the great chemistry that the first team have developed in their last two Premier League matches go to waste as they were devoid of creativity in all aspects of the match.
