Summer arrivals of Ahmed Musa and Islam Slimani looks to have Leicester City forward Leonardo Ulloa set to take his leave in January.

Leonardo Ulloa has been an important steward to the club during the last two seasons as his ability to make a difference when called upon has seen him make himself into a fan favorite.

However, this season the summer signings of Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow and Islam Slimani from Sporting have seen his pitch time become very limited.

With the additions to the first team the now 30-year-old Ulloa is believed to be looking for a more permanent place in a starting XI or at least a better position in the pecking order than he has with the Foxes.

According to reports from WalesOnline, the Argentinian forward is a January transfer target for Swansea City as the relegation battling side continue to look for more positive attacking options.

More from Foxes of Leicester

It is also believed that Sunderland manager David Moyes is interested in making a move for the out of favor Leicester player as support for Jermain Defoe.

Last season Ulloa was happy working from the bench for the Foxes as they were battling for the Premier League title last season, but this year he has seen ever less pitch time while the club have seen an increase in fixtures.

Ulloa also is not featuring regularly in either the cup competitions since their ousting from the League Cup and the lack of the FA Cup starting yet. He also does not have a regular place in the UEFA Champions League first team as well besides limited bench time.

With all that to consider, his career is in the balance and without a move soon he could see his stock drastically fall in the last 18-months of his current Leicester contract.

Prices being stated in regards to him are currently about £9 million and he could be moved for less if only one side goes in for him or more if there is a bidding war between Sundarland and Swansea.
