Leicester City are desperate for some points on the road this season and with Watford’s recent loss on the road they will hope they can catch the hosts off guard.

Traveling Leicester City are looking to pounce on Watford whom have recently taking a 6-1 thumping at the hands of Liverpool in their last Premier League match.

The visitors are desperate to take three points in as many matches as they can from here to the end of the season as they have been sucked into a relegation battle that no-one expected them to be even considered for.

Manchester City were the last side to follow a Championship in England with relegation and Leicester will be looking to guarantee they avoid that embarrassment.

More from Foxes of Leicester

Although Watford were the whipping boys of their lasts league match a fortnight ago, it is unlikely that Walter Mazzarri will allow his side to fall twice in back to back games and he is certain to make a rousing speech prior to the match to see his charges give their best.

Heurelho Gomes should be back and ready for action despite having been prematurely withdrawn at Liverpool due to injury and he is certain to try and make a difference for the home side.

Troy Deeney and Etienne Capoue as well as Odion Ighalo can be a dangerous three in attack and Leicester would do good to watch out for their creativity.

Kasper Schmeichel is sidelined for the coming month since suffering a broken hand, and the Foxes will be forced to transition to Ron-Robert Zieler at the back.

Danny Drinkwater is listed as doubtful but he is expected to make the return to the first team and with his return there are few more injury issues that are expected to fix the visitors starting side.
