Leicester City: Player ratings after Watford loss and more disappointment
Leicester City looked to get back to winning ways in the Premier League following the International break but Watford would have none of it.
A quick one-two goal punch from Etienne Capoue and Roberto Pereya in the opening 12 minutes of the match saw Watford quickly establish dominance over visiting Leicester City at Vicarage Road.
Despite Riyad Mahrez pulling one back from the spot after a foul on Jamie Vardy just after the half hour mark, it was not enough for the visitors to get back on track.
Watford made the most of their chance to get back on track following a 6-1 thumping to title chasers Liverpool before the break while Leicester have fallen by the same scoreline for two straight matches at either side of the fortnight off.

The hosts could have made it ever worse for Claudio Ranieri’s men on two other occasions as both Nordin Amrabat and second goal scorer Pereya both failed to convert open goal chances that had been set up by Troy Deeney and Daryl Janmaat.
Both Wes Morgan and Robert Huth had shots blocked in the closing moments of the match and a late surge from Leicester was repelled by a home side determined to get their three points on the day and the Foxes will have to fight another day.
