Leicester City vs Watford: Struggling foxes travel to Vicarage Road
By Jake Cursley
This afternoon’s match will see Leicester City travel to the in-form Watford as they try to regain momentum in the following their home loss to West Brom.
Our Prediction: Leicester City 1 – 2 Watford

Reasoning: Before the international break, Leicester City suffered a shock as they lost their first home game in 22 matches to Tony Pulis’ West Brom.
The loss made Leicester’s struggling form all too apparent as they have picked up only 1 point on the road this season which was during their 1 – 1 draw with Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Leicester fans, much like QPR fans in the 14/15 season, were hoping that the foxes’ home form would be enough to keep them afloat however their latest set-back has put doubts in everybody’s minds.

Luckily for Leicester fans, the international break has given Claudio Ranieri almost two weeks to focus on galvanising his side and working on overcoming their failures since the season began.
As for Watford, once again they are surprising everybody with how well they can play.
Last season Watford finished in 13th place after being in the top half of the table for the majority of the season.
That was until their manager at the time Quique Flores made a number of strange tactical choices half way through the season which took The Hornets from a comfortable 7th place all the way down to 13th before Flores was fired at the end of the season.
Fans of other clubs looked to Watford fans as being entitled at the time, believing that a newly promoted side should be happy with 13th rather than having higher ambitions however the contrast between their first half of the season and their second half was unmeasurable.
Watford’s latest manager Walter Mazzarri looks to be on the same path as Flores (at least before he took the club down the table) and The Hornets are once again playing some fantastic football.
Luckily for Leicester City fans however is that last time out, Watford got smashed 6 – 1 by league leaders Liverpool (Makes Leicester’s 4 -1 look just a little bit better!).
The result is rather flattering to Watford, surprisingly. After numerous shots against the woodwork, the match could have easily ended 8 – 1.
One game however doesn’t write off their start of the season, currently sitting in 8th and in a much stronger position that Leicester, along with the foxes’ away form, Watford should be confident going into the game and their belief may just win them the match.
Let’s just home it’s not a last minute Troy Deeney header… I don’t want to be scratching my eyes again.
