Leicester City made history again as they took their chance to guarantee a top placed Group G finish in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

Despite a season that on the domestic front, the Leicester City fans and players are battling with motivation and positivism, the Foxes again have made waves in the record books.

While domestically it has been a frustrating year the Foxes are rolling in Europe and another strong showing saw them finish off Club Brugge in the fifth round of Group Stage action and take the top spot in their group with a game in hand.

Following the club’s victory and guaranteed advancement to the next round, Leicester Captain Wes Morgan was delighted with their success in his comments quoted by BBC Sport following the contest at the King Power Stadium:

That Brugge goal was a very big blow and we had to really dig in towards the end.”"

Despite Morgan admitting that the match was a bit nervy at the end, let it take nothing away from the Foxes achievement this season as they continue to look for more ways into the record books.

With a game in hand before the completion of the group stage and the December draw for the knockout round, Leicester will be looking to try and get their Domestic campaign back on track.

Their qualification sees them in a way head into an extended break from European action aside from their match in a fortnight that will likely feature a rotated first team.
