There’s plenty of excitement around the Leicester City camp as Craig Shakespeare tries to bring the glory days back to the club (kind of).

The shambles of the last season now well and truly a distant memory, City, under their new boss, are a breath of fresh air and looking good to take on anyone in the division. What remains to be seen, though, is how well do they actually fare.

The Algerian’s exit now a matter of when rather than if, the East Midlands outfit have been preparing to bid farewell to him and say hello to Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The Icelandic international has been the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Everton as well after yet another excellent campaign for relegation-threatened Swansea City. However, none of the two parties have bid for him as yet – probably because of the £40 million tag – and Leicester City are very much in with a chance to sign him.

While some might question if he’s worth that much at all, few would have a bad word to say about his quality and the kind of impact he can have on any side across the league, let alone Shakespeare’s.

Leicester City may still be hesitant in making him their record signing – and they haven’t had a good track record with record signings – but there remains a smorgasbord of reasons as to why should they go all in for the 27-year old.

We, at Foxes of Leicester, managed to pick three of them:
