2. The New Signings

The most anticipated bit about pre-season games is seeing the team’s new signings in action. With both Harry Maguire and Vicente Iborra in the squad for the Premier League Asia trophy, it’s almost an inevitability that they’ll be featuring against West Bromwich Albion.

While Maguire’s role in the team is already defined, it’ll be interesting to see as to where does Shakespeare use the versatile Iborra, who can operate as the second striker, a central midfielder, a defensive midfielder and even a centre-back.

Although it’s unlikely that he’ll be deployed up front, City may tactically benefit from his familiarity with the position, so why not try him out at least once? He does have the ability, and Leicester City should be using it to their advantage.
