Leicester City played out a goalless draw against MK Dons as Craig Shakespeare’s side failed to find the back of the net despite a number of young players impressing.

Shakespeare played a very different side to the one that featured in the 1-0 win over Luton Town, with only Leonardo Ulloa, Yohan Benalouane and Vicente Iborra retaining their place in the starting XI.

A young Leicester City may not have got the win they wanted, but it was a good performance overall. Here are the major takeaways from their stalemate at a drenched Stadium MK:

Demarai Gray really needs to play

Demarai Gray has been crying out for some playing time since last season, and the young English prodigy proved just why with a display worth taking note of.

The 20-year old was one of the bright spots for Leicester City at a drenched Stadium MK, looking ebullient as ever with all of his skills on show.

Although he still needs to work on his decision making with the ball at his feet, he looks like a player who can fit right into the line-up.
