Profligacy

There’s nothing more frustrating than a period of sustained pressure, chances galore and no goals to show for it. The 2-1 defeat to Burton Albion was one of a number of matches wherein the Foxes missed chance after chance after chance as they all went begging.

Leicester City have a plethora of options to play up front, but none of them guarantees the kind of clinical edge that one would crave for.

Ahmed Musa, Jamie Vardy, Islam Slimani and Leonardo Ulloa are all the kind of strikers who aren’t exactly known for their ruthless instinct, and even if Kelechi Iheanacho is signed, they’ll have to step up, or pay a heavy price.
