Three most important players

Jamie Vardy

Leicester City need Jamie Vardy more than anyone else and it’s as simple as that. There are some players who, when they are doing well, get the whole team going and Vardy is one of them.

Craig Shakespeare has brought in Kelechi Iheanacho to bolster his side’s goalscoring options, but if his main main, Jamie Vardy, fails to be at the top of his game, the new signing is likely to suffer too as no one is more crucial to City’s counter-attacking style than the 30-year old.

Danny Drinkwater

The man who knits it all together for Leicester City. The Foxes are without Drinkwater, what a God is without Ichor, which probably explains his importance to Shakespeare’s plans for the season.

Before everything, however, Leicester have to ensure that they don’t end up selling him to Chelsea too, or else, they’d be in huge trouble.

Kasper Schmeichel

But for his age, Manchester United won’t have taken a moment’s break in their pursuit of Kasper Schmeichel, such is the talent of one of Leicester City’s prized possessions.

The Denmark international has been the saviour for his side more often than not, and without him, it’s hard to imagine where would City be. Like Vardy, he would have to be at the top of his game if Leicester are to do a Leicester again this season.
