Leicester City could move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, as per the Leicester Mercury.

The Foxes are reported to have enquired about the availability of the Poland international, who has only made 19 appearances since his £30 million move from Sevilla. The fact that he has previously had a successful partnership with Leicester City’s new signing Vicente Iborra, would only make his coup even better.

Leicester City’s interest in him comes as a result of the fear that they may end up losing Danny Drinkwater at the last moment, who Chelsea seem to have taken a firm liking to.

The 27-year old only recently signed a new contract with the Foxes, and interestingly, it doesn’t have a buyout clause at all, meaning that the East Midlands outfit can just name their price and the reigning Champions would have to pay it.

Chelsea are also interested in signing Jamie Vardy from Leicester City. Vardy began his 2017/18 Premier League season with a proper bang, scoring a terrific brace against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium as the 30-year old nearly earned Leicester City an unlikely away win.

The 30-year old has looked pretty sharp in the following games against Brighton and Hove Albion and Manchester United too, and that has convinced the his nibs at Chelsea that he’s the perfect man to replace wantaway Diego Costa.

As you’d expect, Leicester City won’t really entertain any offers for the England international – not this late into the transfer window anyway – but if Chelsea come calling with a big money offer, you never know how quickly can things change.
