Vicente Iborra

Fee: £12 million

Rating: 8.5

He may not have featured this season at all, but Vicente Iborra is almost certain to make an instant impact the moment he’s ready to play. The 28-year old first caught Leicester City’s eye in their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie, and as he ran the show all game, you could guess what he’s capable of.

Don’t think of him as a defensive midfielder (although that’s his primary position), but don’t see him as proper, creative central midfielder either – he’s a bit of both and he is very good at it. Put simply, Iborra is that balance that Leicester City need.
