Shinji Okazaki continues to shine

So often, Shinji Okazaki has been the subject of opprobrium from fans and experts alike for his lack of goals. This time around, the Japanese international seems to have addressed that problem well, scoring four goals in six appearances across all competitions as compared to the scanty total he previously had.

Right from the start of the season, the 31-year old has been a key part of Craig Shakespeare’s struggling XI, being one of the bright spots of an otherwise jejune 2017/18 campaign for his team. If he continues to play the way he is at the moment, he may easily outshine Jamie Vardy.
