There wasn’t to be a winner at Dean Court as Leicester City fought their way through to a 0-0 draw against AFC Bournemouth, who would consider it a bottled chance to grab all three points.

Wondering who was good and who was poor? Our Leicester City player ratings reveal it all:

Kasper Schmeichel: 8

But for him, Leicester City won’t have come anyway near getting a point from a game they were never in except the last few minutes. The Danish made some top saves early on to deny Bournemouth, proving his worth to the side again.

Danny Simpson: 6

Not the kind of player you’d generally expect a lot from. He’s there to do a job, and he normally does it very well. Danny Simpson might have got away with a handball today but was good nonetheless.

Next: AFC Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester City: Three things we learned

Harry Maguire: 6

He hasn’t been at the peak of his powers in the past two fixtures, has he? Harry Maguire never felt like he’s Harry Maguire, though it never cost Leicester City. Did enough.

Wes Morgan: 8

He’s the side’s captain for a reason and today, he showed what that reason is. Authoritative, confident and definitive, Wes Morgan put in his display of the season.

Christian Fuchs: 8

Did he ever go away? Certainly didn’t look like it. On his return from injury, Christian Fuchs just casually performed at the very level that his manager would have wanted him to, bursting forward and minding the job at the back. Arguably the best player on the pitch.

Wilfred Ndidi: 5.5

Leicester City want to find a new N’Golo Kante in him, but he’s just Wilfred Ndidi, after all. He’s in his learning phase, a part of which are a number of poor performances laden with errors. One such performance came today.

Andy King: 5.5

Just about the same as his midfield partner. Andy King put in a shift like Ndidi but to no real effect since the midfield looked to be out of sorts. No surprise that he was subbed off at half-time.

Demarai Gray: 5.5

When you’ve been whinging about a lack of playing time and you finally get to start a game, you do everything to prove how capable you are. Demarai Gray couldn’t quite unfortunately do that.

Marc Albrighton: 6

The Mr. Reliable of Leicester City. No matter how the team plays, Marc Albrighton will find a way to fine-tune his own performance, which he did today. Full of energy and effort.

Shinji Okazaki: 6

Got the best chance of the game from a few yards out, which he should have buried. Apart from that, however, Shinji Okazaki didn’t do much wrong.

Jamie Vardy: 6

Isolated for the better part of 90 minutes. It wasn’t really a bad performance – it’s just that he couldn’t do much because his own team didn’t couldn’t make him do anything at all.
