4-4-2 won’t work, not with this squad

How long does it take for Craig Shakespeare to know that a 4-4-2 won’t work for Leicester City? If he were to stick with it all season, the Foxes would inevitably end up getting relegated with distinction.

It was possible with industrious players like Danny Drinkwater and N’Golo Kante in the middle of the park, but when you have Andy King and Wilfred Ndidi, you don’t play a 4-4-2. Look at how lost did Jamie Vardy seem today with all the lack of service and the ball retention being horrendous.

A 3-5-2 has always looked like the way forward.
