Leicester City’s winless run in the Premier League extended to an astonishing six games as they drew 1-1 against West Bromwich Albion.

A lacklustre first-half was followed by a relatively action-packed second-half, with Nacer Chadli the man to open the scoring with a stunning free-kick.  Leicester City, however, ensured that the points were to be shared, thanks to Riyad Mahrez’s effort – his first of the season.

Here’s what we learned from the stalemate at the King Power Stadium:

Riyad Mahrez to find some form?

When Riyad Mahrez came on for the closing few minutes against AFC Bournemouth, his little cameo had plenty in it for the optimists out there. Against West Bromwich Albion tonight, the Algerian managed to add to that optimism with the all-important equaliser.

The age-old inconsistency was pretty evident in a poor miss from just seven yards, but the flashes of brilliance either side of it, the odd moves and some of the passes were enought to think that Mahrez may find some form sooner rather than later.
