Leicester City Vs Atletico Madrid

There is no doubt that Leicester City’s performance against Atletico Madrid in that 1-1 draw has to be one of their best ever displays in the Premier League era, a fact that is further reflected in the 65 clearances that Diego Simeone’s side made on that night at the King Power Stadium. Imagine, 65 clearances for a side that has the potential to rip any defence to shreds, let alone Leicester’s.

It wasn’t just a mere coincidence, but what a 3-4-1-2 can do to you if played the right way. Craig Shakespeare’s side seemed confident, secure and dominant that night because of the sense of security as well the attacking scope that a back-three system offers.
