Leicester City: Three issues Claude Puel must immediately address
The 4-4-2 is a shemozzle
It’s beginning to get repetitive, but Leicester City really need to bin the 4-4-2 now. It was a hit with N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater in the middle of the park, but with Ndidi, you simply don’t play this system.
3-5-2 or a 3-4-1-2 seems to be the current trend in English football, and Leicester City must jump on the bandwagon to improve. A 3-4-1-2 may be really well suited to the Foxes since it offers more security at the back, solidity in the middle and more scope for the forwards up front to be where they want to be rather than having to drop deep at all times to link up.

Kelechi Iheanacho in particular would benefit from this system, meaning that it really would be worth giving a shot. Your call, Claude.
