Leicester City began the Claude Puel era in style as the Foxes dispatched Everton 2-0. Here’s what we learned from a splendid all-round display at the King Power Stadium:

Demarai Gray breathing again

We have seen Demarai Gray sulk, and we have also heard him moan, but we haven’t really seen him play as much. Now that Claude Puel is here, however, it’s clear that we could be about to see a lot more of the young English prodigy who everyone has craved for the sight of.

Gray was handed a start by Puel at the expense of Shinji Okazaki, and the 21-year old repaid the Frenchman’s faith by running the length of the pitch for Jamie Vardy’s opener and scoring the second himself.
