About the 1884 Club
As well as being a club for the box holders and hospitality clients at the King Power Stadium, the members of the Premier Lounge and the Gallery Area will also be invited. Moving further, the chief aim of the 1884 Club is to “engage with the members” and make their experience even better.

Leicester City’s Hospitality Manager Dan Thomas explained why is the Club so significant, and how it serves as a way of returning something back to the club’s fans.
Speaking to LCFC TV, he said:
"“It’s something that has been in the mindset of the Club, especially for the last couple of seasons.“Looking around tonight, this has given us our chance to engage with our supporters who stay in hospitality.“This is our way of giving something back and not just relying on them just during the 19 home Premier League matches and a selected amount of cup fixtures.“As a club, the team spirit we have is demonstrated by players turning up to events like this. It is something we hope to continue over the coming months and years."
Matt Elliott, who made 246 appearances for Leicester City, was also present at the event. the Foxes legend stressed on the importance of the Club while also making himself available for any future involvement. He said:
"“First and foremost it develops the connection between the Club and their supporters and box holders. They’ve met the first team players up close and personal.“Gerry and I are hovering around and making a nuisance of ourselves too. We know what it’s like as ex-players coming into this environment and they were nice and personal.“It’s 20 years ago that I came to this city and Leicester City Football Club. It’s brilliant to maintain that relationship and I do work for the media, corporate and community sides.“Whatever involvement they need me for is fine by me.”"
Leicester City will hope that their Premier League campaign is as much of a success as the hospitality event was, as they begin another tough set of fixtures against Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday before
