The Austrian international insists the Foxes are ready for their Saturday lunchtime clash against Stoke City.

Leicester City will be looking to build on their 2-0 win over Everton , in what will be the newly appointed manager Claude Puel’s second game in charge.

The Foxes are currently enjoying a four-match unbeaten streak in the league and travel to the Bet365 Stadium four points clear of the relegation zone.

Christian Fuchs is confident of the Foxes chances heading into the game and feels that his teammates will give their all.

"Speaking to Leicester City’s official  club website ahead of the fixture, the defender said: “We’re going to go there and try and win the game,“In the end, if we win the game, I don’t care how it works out. Obviously, everybody is a friend of good, effective football, but at the end it’s down to the result.”"

The last time the Potters played host to Leicester City was in the memorable 2-2 draw. The visitors managed to recover from a Jamie Vardy red card and a two goal deficit to claim a point.

Stoke beat Watford 1-0  last week and have already enjoyed home wins against Arsenal and Southampton.

Mark Hughes’ men also held Manchester United to a 2-2 draw and have notched seven points from their six home league games.

Although Fuchs is aware of the difficulties his side will face, he feels the Foxes can get the positive result needed.

"He added: “It certainly is a tough place to go, but we have to remember last season when we went 2-0 down and still came back to pick up a point despite playing with just 10 men.“We have good memories about that place so we will be trying to keep them good this weekend too.”"

The City defender had special mention for the Foxes away following and the part they played in last season’s second-half comeback. The 31-year-old feels they could prove to be the difference this time round.

"He said: “They are always amazing – there’s no questions asked about that. We experienced it last season,” he added.“Everybody knew that it was a tough game for us with all the circumstances, but seeing this wall of Leicester supporters, obviously they are pushing you.“You can then overcome one man down and I think it’s going to be the same story with the support this Saturday.”"

The Foxes will be without injured Robert Huth and possibly Ben Chilwell. The 20-year-old is a doubt after picking up a slight knee injury. Winger Demarai Gray is considered to start after his dazzling display against Everton and recently expressed his delight to signing a new four-year-deal.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports  at 12:30pm on Saturday 4th November.
