The Foxes have reportedly made New York City front-man Jack Harrison a potential target and are looking to place a formal bid in the January transfer market.
The 20-year-old has scored 10 goals in his 36 appearances and featured in New York’s 4-3 MLS play-offs lost to Columbus Crew, last Sunday.
According to the Daily Mail, Leicester are amongst fierce competition to sign the right winger with fellow Premier League opponents Everton and Brighton all hoping to nail down a £6 million deal.

Harrison has impressed in America and has received recognition for his good form with a call up to the England Under 21 squad.
The attacking forward represented the England Under 21s for the first time in their UEFA European Under 21 qualifying wins over Scotland and Andorra. He helped England overcome Scotland 3-1 and was in the squad that beat Andorra 1-0.
Born in Stoke, the Englishman begun his footballing career at Manchester United before moving to the US as a 14-year-old boy.
Contracted until 2019, Harrison has already been tipped to be a future great by the likes of David Villa, Patrick Viera and Frank Lampard.
If Leicester agreed upon a deal with the New York club, Harrison could add a sense of competition for places with flamboyant midfielders Riyad Mahrez and Demarai Gray both playing in similar positions.
The deal could also confirm the rumours that Mahrez is on his way out of the Kingpower stadium. The Algerian hinted at a move away back in the summer and has since been linked with a transfer to Ligue 1 side Marseille .
