Jack Mceachen’s picks

Christian Fuchs

Unfortunately, Christian Fuchs has to look over his shoulder at Ben Chilwell competing for his starting spot in the side. Defensively, the Austrian seems to have lacked that concentration he previously had and isn’t as involved going forward as he once was.

He looked especially poor in the 2-0 win over Everton, gave up a very good chance and should have given a penalty away too. Fortunately for the 31-year-old, Aaron Lennon was subbed off at half-time after spending the first 45 minutes tormenting the left-back.

Marc Albrighton

This was a tough pick, as Marc Albrighton has been that bad this season. However, his shots per game, key passes per game and dribbles per game are all down from last season.

The emergence of Demarai Gray will worry him too, especially after the bright start Gray has had since becoming a starter under Claude Puel.

Kelechi Iheanacho

A whopping £25 million was spent to get Iheanacho from Manchester City, but he just doesn’t seem like a good fit at Leicester.

He isn’t going to start over Vardy, and neither of the two work hard enough off the ball to play together in a pair.  I feel bad for him, because Leicester’s recruitment department are the ones at fault here, but nonetheless it has been a poor start for the Nigerian.
