Puel excited by Manchester City opportunity

Previewing his side’s home clash against Manchester City, manager Claude Puel believes his side are in for a thrilling encounter.
He has enjoyed an unbeaten start in his two games in charge and comes up against a Pep Guardiola team that are yet to face defeat.
Manchester City sit eight points clear at the top of the Premier League and it has been 19 years since Leicester last beat a team placed top of the pile.
A statistic which stretches all the way back to 1998 when the Foxes defeated then league leaders Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford.
Looking ahead to Saturday’s match, Puel said he is looking forward to the challenges City pose.
"“It is an exciting game for us to play against a great team with great staff and a great manager,” he told reporters in his news conference. “It is an opportunity for us to play a good game and I hope to get a good result.”"
City manager Pep Guardiola has won ten of his opening eleven games so far this season, an accomplishment Puel feels they can overcome.
"“He is a great manager because he has built a team with great possession but also he gives opportunity to make a good counter attack and good set attack,” he explained. “It is a complete team. We are at home, and with all the supporters behind us we can do fantastic things. I think we know this team, in open games, is the best team in England or alongside Paris (Paris Saint Germain), in Europe. “But all the time any opponent can make the difference. We must stay focused on what we can do on the pitch, to have positive attitude and attack not just defend against this team.”“We will see the result. It is a fantastic challenge. It is an opportunity for us. I hope to win. It would be the first time they lose. It is the most important thing.”"

“Defenders, midfielders, strikers, in every position they have players with fantastic quality.
The Foxes are unbeaten in their last five and he has recently refereed to his team as an evolutionary project, one which will take time to progress.
Asked about which player the former Southampton boss thought would cause his squad the most problems, he joked claiming all of them have the ability to do so.
"“All [laughing]. All the players because all the players can make the difference in the game,” he pointed out. “When we say this, I think the most important is just to keep good focus, good concentration about our game, what we can make and not just to disturb them, but to try to have a good result and to score and to play.”"
Leicester City have picked up no new injuries with duo Matty James and Robert Huth remaining doubts for the game and Puel expects them to make their return come the end of November, early December.
However, Vincente Iborra and Ben Chilwell are fit to feature. A win for Leicester could see them go as far as seven points clear if other results go their way.
