Opponent watch: What Leicester City must expect as they face West Ham United

Key match-ups

The wingers against Zabaleta will be key, but also Carroll against Wes Morgan and Harry Maguire.

This matchup wouldn’t look out of place in 1995, but in the modern day, it’s unusual to see a pair of old-fashioned centre-backs against a striker in the ilk of Carroll.

Handling the 6’3” striker well would force Moyes’ side into a Plan B, something the Scottish manager hasn’t shown he can provide over recent years.

Should Claude Puel’s side be able to contain Carroll, they could well walk away on Friday night with all three points.
