Set pieces continue to cause Leicester problems

No Premier League side has conceded more goals from corners than City, a downfall Puel needs to address. A team that used to be built around such aerial prowess but has the introduction of ball playing Harry Maguire affected their presence in the air.

While Kouyate did well to hang in the air for so long, questions need to be raised surrounding how the Senegal international was able to guide the ball home barely challenged despite the ball striking Danny Simpson’s shoulder on its way in.

Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel dealt with the threat from dead ball situations well. He equalled  a back-post header and palmed away a Manuel Lanzini strike. However, the pressure took its toll and Kouyate found a way through.

The Foxes’ next five games see them come up against three sides from the bottom half although only after they host Tottenham at the King Power on Tuesday.
