Four Leicester City players have been named in the CIES Football Observatory’s exclusive list of the most valuable U-21 players in Europe’s top five leagues.

CIES is a Switzerland-based analytics company that calculates player values using a unique algorithm, with factors as age, contract length, nationality and ability taken into consideration.

They released the latest of their lists on Tuesday, ranking the world’s most valuable young players (U-21) currently plying their trade in one of Europe’s top leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A), naming as many as four Leicester City youngsters.

Only Liverpool (four) and their Tyneside rivals Everton (five) have an equal or higher number of players on the list (among the Premier League clubs), a reflection of how the Foxes’ future rests in safe hands.

Gray is also the seventh highest Englishman on the list, with the highest being Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli at second (£159.3 ).

Next Leicester player is Kelechi Iheanacho, ranked 56th with a value of £17.2 million, some eight million less than what the East Midlanders paid for the Nigerian prodigy. Finally comes Ben Chilwell at 84th position, priced at £10.8 million.
