Southampton 1-4 Leicester City Player Ratings: TENS for two players
By James Lassey
Leicester City provided an emphatic 4-1 victory over manager Claude Puel’s former side Southampton.
A Riyad Mahrez stunner followed by a Shinji Okazaki brace and a late Andy King settler ensured Puel the points but just how well did everyone play?
Goalkeeper
Kasper Schmeichel – 8.5/10
Almost got a hand to prevent Southampton’s goal and performed a superb stop to prevent Saints striker Charlie Austin halving the deficit at 3-1.

Defenders
Danny Simpson- 8/10
Under Puel he has really taken to his new instructions of joining attacks whenever and it’s hard not to see him getting a goal in the future. Looked assured.
Wes Morgan – 8/10
A solid display by the skipper once again, led the back line superbly and rarely put a foot wrong.
Harry Maguire – 10/10
When is the 24-year-old going to have a bad game, his consistency is remarkable. Again, strutted his stuff when sparking Leicester’s attack and galloped majestically out with the ball from the back.
Christian Fuchs- 8/10
On his return to the starting line-up, the Austrian had a good game and executed everything he was asked to do well.
