Riyad Mahrez getting better and better

Riyad Mahrez is getting better and better with the January transfer drawing ever closer. Since Puel’s arrival, the 26-year old has turned his woeful season into one of his very best, having netted four times and assisted once.

There’s a sense that he might as well be pushing himself to attract more suitors next month, meaning that Leicester City would have to be very careful with the wantaway. Who knows if the Algerian might himself resist a move now that the Foxes are on the up? We shall see.
