Jamie Vardy – 8/10

Scored the penalty late into the game to send it to extra time, and once again Leicester were able to rely on their talisman to produce in the moments where it matters most.

Vardy’s introduction sparked something inside Leicester, and the Foxes’ looked the better side once he and Riyad Mahrez were brought on. Perhaps Puel could have started more of his key figures, and they may have advanced to the next stage of the competition.

Unfortunately for Leicester, Vardy couldn’t convert from the spot again as he sent his spotkick wide in the shootout.

Riyad Mahrez – 7/10

On for Albrighton as Claude Puel sensed an opportunity to get back into the game, and gave Zinchenko plenty of trouble and created several chances for his side.

Demarai Gray – 7/10

Won the penalty after running at Kyle Walker and although there was minimal contact, the winger did well to be positive and run directly at the Manchester City defenders, something Leicester didn’t often do.
