Leicester City suffered their second defeat in three Premier League games as familiar shortcomings dealt them a heavy blow yet again. Here’s what we learned from the Foxes’ 2-1 defeat at Vicarage Road:

How do Leicester City solve the set-piece problem?

Out of the 30 goals that Leicester City have so far conceded, 13 have come from set-pieces – the highest in the Premier League – including two on the night alone. When Riyad Mahrez handed Leicester the lead, one could almost sense that Watford’s response was just round the corner, and indeed, it was scored from a corner before the second-half saw a Tom Cleverley free-kick find the net through Abdoulaye Doucoure (given as an own goal by Kasper Schmeichel).

When you have two humongous units as Harry Maguire and Wes Morgan as your centre-backs, it’s staggering as to how can you struggle to cope with set-piece situations as much as Leicester City. Going forward – and it has been said before – Claude Puel would need to take some decisions for his side to get better in this specific area.
