Talk about Aleksandar Dragovic

Let’s be honest: It wasn’t the most encouraging of Premier League debuts for Aleksandar Dragovic. The Austrian wasn’t too bad, but he didn’t do anything of note except being at fault for the second goal, which is the worst possible reason to be remembered in a game for. Even though he dealt well with whatever was thrown his way in the first-half, it’s clear that he is no replacement for Danny Simpson.

The 26-year old might be better off in a back three (3-4-3), a formation that Claude Puel generally tries out in the closing stages of a game, but if the Frenchman sticks to his current system, Dragovic doesn’t seem like he’d be able to nail down a spot.
